HYBACH FLOW

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hybach Flow: Smart Hydration (the “App”) accesses, uses, stores, and shares user and device data.

Effective: August 5, 2026 Last updated: August 5, 2026
Plain-language summary: Hybach Flow is designed as a local-first hydration app. In the current version, hydration records, bottle data, settings, and Health Connect information are processed on your Android device and are not uploaded to a Hybach-operated cloud account or advertising system.

1. Who we are

Hybach Flow is operated under the Hybach brand. This policy applies specifically to the Hybach Flow Android application.

Privacy questions may be sent to [email protected].

2. What the App does

Hybach Flow helps users record and review hydration, track progress toward a selected hydration goal, connect to an optional Hybach bottle device over Bluetooth, receive local reminders, and view hydration-pattern insights. The App may also connect to Android Health Connect at the user’s request.

3. Data the App accesses or stores

Hydration records

Amounts consumed, timestamps, beverage or source information, edits, and locally calculated hydration totals. Records may be entered manually, detected by a connected Hybach bottle, or imported from Health Connect.

Health Connect data

When you explicitly connect Health Connect and grant permission, the App may read hydration records, daily step records, and exercise-session records. The App may write hydration records that you enter or that are detected by your connected bottle. Hybach Flow does not request exercise routes, GPS location, heart rate, speed, distance, medical records, reproductive data, medications, or other unrelated health categories.

Connected bottle information

Bluetooth device identifier and name, connection status, battery status, firmware status, scale or weight readings, calibration values, capacity settings, and bottle-detected hydration events.

App preferences

Your selected hydration goal, preferred measurement units, reminder schedules, quiet hours, notification settings, theme, and other personalization choices.

Local diagnostic information

The App may create technical logs or error details on your device to support troubleshooting. These logs are not automatically sent to Hybach. They leave your device only when you choose to share them.

4. Why this data is used

5. Health Connect

Health Connect integration is optional. Hybach Flow requests Health Connect permissions only after you choose to connect the feature. You may deny individual permissions, revoke access, or disconnect the App through Android or Health Connect settings.

Health Connect data is used only to provide hydration, activity-context, exercise-context, history, synchronization, and related wellness features inside Hybach Flow. It is not used for advertising, credit decisions, insurance eligibility, employment decisions, or the sale of user profiles.

Android may group related record types under a single permission. For example, the Steps permission may display both Steps and Steps Cadence, and the Exercise permission may display Exercise Sessions and Cycling Pedaling Cadence. Hybach Flow uses aggregate step records and exercise-session records; it does not intentionally query or display cadence samples.

6. Where data is stored

In the current version, Hybach Flow stores App records and settings locally on your Android device. The App does not require a Hybach account and does not upload your hydration history or Health Connect records to a Hybach-operated cloud database.

Records written to Health Connect are stored and managed by Health Connect and are subject to Android’s and the contributing app’s controls. Bluetooth data is exchanged directly between your device and the connected bottle.

7. Data sharing

Hybach Flow does not sell personal data or health data. Hybach Flow does not share health data with advertisers or data brokers.

Data may be transferred on your device in the following limited situations:

8. Advertising and analytics

The current version of Hybach Flow does not include third-party advertising, personalized advertising, or developer-operated behavioral analytics. Health and fitness data is never used for advertising.

9. Security

Hybach Flow uses Android application storage, Android permission controls, Health Connect’s permission system, and Bluetooth security provided by the device and operating system. Access to Health Connect data is limited to permissions you grant. The App is designed to minimize off-device processing of sensitive data.

No storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. You should keep your Android device updated, use a device lock, and protect access to your phone.

10. Retention and deletion

Locally stored hydration records and settings remain on your device until you delete individual entries, reset App data, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App. Because the current version does not use Hybach user accounts or a Hybach cloud database, Hybach generally has no remote copy to delete.

You can revoke Health Connect permissions or delete Health Connect records through Health Connect. Removing data from Hybach Flow does not necessarily delete a separate copy stored in Health Connect, and deleting a Health Connect record may not remove an independently stored local entry unless you also delete it in Hybach Flow.

11. Your choices and controls

12. Children’s privacy

Hybach Flow is a general wellness tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Hybach account or cloud service because the current App does not provide such an account or service. Parents or guardians should supervise a minor’s use of health and wellness applications.

13. Medical disclaimer

Hybach Flow is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Hydration goals, reminders, and pattern insights are general wellness information. Users with medical conditions, fluid restrictions, pregnancy-related concerns, or questions about appropriate fluid intake should consult a qualified healthcare professional.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when App features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will identify the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the App or store listing when appropriate.
